I have travelled the world but still have not seen it all. Currently, I practice Medicine. I was , previously, a member of the USAF Spec Ops ( Air Commandos) and before that a C130 navigator ( military aviation). Grew up in Mariaville, Maine although originally from Big Spring, Texas. I am a self taught artist. I especially love pen and ink, graphite and pastels.I spend a lot of my free time teaching Pencak Silat, Bela Diri, Kali and general Self Defense skills to citizens who are concerned with their ability to protect themselves or their loved ones( a passion of mine).As a person...I am a good listener, patient, enjoy teaching, playful, funloving ,passionate , good humored ...enjoy life,arts,movies, coffee and close friends . I am adventurous ,openminded and nonjudgemental. I can be quiet and reserved when first meeting with someone then, once comfortable ,I can be pretty talkative and allow my sometimes quirky sense of humor to come out.I suppose I like the exotic....things from other times , other countries, cultures and peoples. I feel if we were all the same, the world would be too tame and boring. I am politically independent and believe in the essence of the Constitution and regard it as having validity and relevance to our country and culture today, equal to that of past generations.I come from a blue collar background and , so , blend well with most circles of people. I do not care for social elitist. I do believe in self determination, self reliance and rugged individualism. I value education and self development. I do best with those who are compassionate , not prudish , not possessive and jealous, who are very good humored, easy going but still have great passions.....not those who are insane and out of control, but rather those who have a true enthusiasm and zest for life.I do have one daughter who occasionally stays with me. She is very cool and one of the important and profoundly pleasant elements in my life. She shares my love of art, putters in self defense training with me, love animals ( esp. cats),loves movies and enjoys XBox. Her interest in art and desire for instruction is making me revisit my old passion of drawing and painting....very much scraping the rust off those old skills.
