The Last Stop

About Me

The Last Stop is Long Island's new top Dave Matthews Band Tribute. Our goal, as fans of DMB, is to spread the amazing music of DMB to the fans on Long Island. We are comprised of very talented musicians, and look forward to having a blast playing great music!A little about us: Kristian on guitar and lead vocal fronted a DMB Tribute in Phoenix, Arizona for three years in a band called "Grey Street". Many will notice that he plays the guitar parts the same exact way Dave does, without any shortcuts, and has a singing voice that is very similar to the man himself. Even the toughest of critics on Antsmarching.org have said it's spooky; let's hope they weren't talking about his inability to get a tan.Mike has been hitting the drums for 13 years, and is actually also a pretty good sax player. He has been known to bring "Carter is God" signs to DMB concerts, and because of that, he is starting to develop quite a collection of drumsticks used in concert by God himself. If you look close enough during a show, you might catch Mike blowing a bubble while singing backup and using seven limbs to mimic Mr. Beauford.Dan the Man on the saxophone must be heard to be believed. So young, yet so badass. He is already making a name for himself on The Island and isn't even done with college! If you catch him between sets, he'll probably be adjusting the sound system, and installing a sprinkler system while chatting it up with the cutest girl in the bar. We don't think they actually pay much attention to him though...he only talks about playing more than pentatonic scales.Sean is one of the best fiddle players you will find this side of the Mason/Dixon Line. A veteran of The Dave Matthews Tribute Band (DMTB), he has toured the country playing the music of DMB. He has returned to his native New York to rip it up back home! At the show, close your eyes and you'll swear that when you open them up, Sean will have dreads, huge muscles, and be running all around the stage like a lunatic.Jeanette, a classically trained string player and teacher, has been on the Long Island music scene for a few years now. She has played in club bands, jazz combos, and wedding bands while also devoting her life to the CW Post Music Department. She's just happy that now she doesn't have to figure out how to fit her upright bass in her small car on the way to The Last Stop shows! We're just a bunch of crazy DMB fans who love to perform, and pride ourselves on bringing the best music in the world to the awesome venues on Long Island and beyond. And above all, we thank you all SO MUCH for your continued support. Hope to see you at a gig soon!
