Already with the second track it is more than clear that Andrea Bræin Hovig can tell merry stories also with speech singing - with 29 years she was already adjusted by the Norwegian national theatre in Oslo.Andrea Bræin Hovig - “Hjertetvinner”For the texts of the eleven pieces of the album, whose originals originally originate from the stage or from films, it looked for itself eleven Norwegian writers, who found again their own lyric language for the translation. Longing-full airs are here (“Bortanfor alt”, original: “Lost in the of stars”) or südländische temple melodies, as "Gjør det igjen" (Gershwins “DO it again”). Andrea Bræin Hovigs voice pushes thereby never too far into the foreground, but seems from the individual instruments to come out.If one natt “I” (“Moon River”) or “Lyden av deg” (Händels “Lascia CH `IO pianga”) hears, one wishes oneself to be once again a small child and wait with gentle vowels for opening the dark red curtain… of a good Fee into the dream leading, whispering words, the sea paints with sachter surf an´s banks and quietly rains the Piano drop on the water surface, to which singing paints like the wind around ears, until it disappears gently.
