Voodoo Nation is the brain child of Clarky.
Voodoo Nation are a band from the North East of England who play and gig by the rule "live to play live!"
The original three piece format formed in late 2003, but the vibes shortly drifted away with an early hiatus within the band. Not prepared to stop what was becoming an excellent sound vibe, Clarky held auditions and other musicians were taken on board. The new and reborn current format of Voodoo Nation emerged in late 2004.
After being together for a couple of months they quickly established themselves on the local scene in Newcastle. They have since started to build a solid and loyal following.
After varied line-up changes, Voodoo Nation has decided to go back to their musical roots and totally revamp the band both in musical direction as well as musical genre.
With this new line-up complete, Voodoo Nation will again emerge like a phoenix from the fire triumphantly and will continue to ooze aggressive energy in the music they play.
Having been faced with criticism from the press, jealousy and slander by ex-band members and pseudo realisms from part of the music promotional scene, Voodoo Nation are still coming out guns blazing.
It can only be said that "This band is unstoppable!"
