Silhouette

Silhouette is an indie folk-rock trio from Alden, NY, formed in the Fall of ‘06. Band members include siblings Hannah and Julia Norris, and Sara Genco. The combination of violin, piano, guitar and three part harmony on their original songs lends itself to the girls’ fresh take on folk music. Other instruments include accordion and ukulele, and the recent addition of drummer Jamie Sunshine takes Silhouette's music to new heights for larger venues. They have played at such varied venues as the Tonawanda Folk Festival, Canal Fest, and assorted coffeehouses and churches around Western New York, as well as live on the radio at 107.7 the Lake.
