Beyond Pesticides

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Beyond Pesticides (formerly National Coalition Against the Misuse of Pesticides) works with allies in protecting public health and the environment to lead the transition to a world free of toxic pesticides. The founders, who established Beyond Pesticides as a nonprofit membership organization in 1981, felt that without the existence of such an organized, national network, local, state and national pesticide policy would become, under chemical industry pressure, increasingly unresponsive to public health and environmental concerns. For more info, see: http://www.beyondpesticides.org

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Activists, concerned citizens, organic food lovers, farmworkers, organic farmers, progressive government officials, chemically sensitive people, organic lawn care providers, least-toxic pest control companies, volunteers and interns, scientists and researchers, proponents of environmental justice, fellow environmental and public health organizations, doctors familiar with MCS, people concerned about genetically modified food, and anyone interested in learning about least-toxic alternatives to pesticides.
