Wear Ecko, drink Lagunitas, and throw Anti-Yo...

About Me

I just don't give a fuck. I used to...But after recent events in my life, I have stopped caring about what other people think of me. You either love me or you hate me. There is no gray area. Some people find my abrasive personality quite endearing, and think that I am easy to get along with. Other people probably feel that I am impossible to tolerate for more than a few minutes at a time. I do what I want, and I say what's on my mind...And if you happen to get offended by that, then that's on you. It's not my fault you're sensitive.
With that said, let me tell you a few of my personal details...
For starters, my name is John, I'm 26 years old, and I can be quite an interesting character sometimes. I guess you can say I'm a bit of a nerd too. I mean I get good grades in school, and I play with yo-yos for a few hours each day, which I've been doing for the last 6+ years now. In fact, I've been fucking around with them for so long that I've started competing.

This is my 12th place freestyle from the 2006 National Yo-Yo Contest. I might've done better this year if I had actually practiced more than a few hours, and mapped out a solid three minute routine...
Somehow, my little hobby even got me sponsored by Ecko Unlimited . This was my first video for the EckoTV campaign...

I am also the 2006 Washington State Yo-Yo Champion. Above, is my 1st place freestyle from the this year's Pacific Northwest Yo-Yo Championships.
Now aside from yo-yoing -- which has become one of the main things I am known for in the last few years -- I have an addiction to tattoos, clothes, mobster movies, true crime novels, and good quality beers and liquors. I guess that last part makes me sound like an alcoholic in the early stages, huh? It is probably true too. But at least I'm not out smoking heroin or shooting up crack, right?
To get even more personal, I am the product of a broken home. Both of my parents are deceased, as well as all four of my grandparents. So I don't have a strong sense of family. But even when they were around, my home life was far from healthy. It was actually quite chaotic. I got slapped around for leaving the lights on, forgetting to put the toilet seat down, and even for listening to rap music. By the time I was twelve, I was kicked out of the house, forced to spend my teenage years in group homes, and other fun places like that. My adolescent years were definitely far from normal. Luckily, through all the bullshit, I have managed to re-form a strong connection with my older sister, Tanya, as well as my younger sister, Victoria. Even though they live on the other side of the country, it's good to know that I have some family still in my life.
Along with all of the baggage and vices, I have a long list of goals that I plan on accomplishing in my lifetime. With my brains, life experiences, and creativity, I know that I am more than capable of becoming a highly successful individual. It's not a matter of IF. It's a matter of WHEN. Among my life goals -- in no particular order -- are to earn a degree in International Business (with a minor in Japanese language), go to film school (preferably USC), write a few screenplays, film some movies and documentaries, write a couple of books, break the world record for the longest time spent waiting in line for a movie, breed a chihuahua-sized Pit Bull, win the World and National Yo-Yo Contests, design my own signature yo-yo, have a kid (just one), own a house or five, and take over the world (or at least a very small island)...Wow. That was quite the run-on sentence.

My Interests

tattoos, yo-yos, reading, creative writing, the english language, knowlege, the history of organized crime, film, good food, sushi, japan, beer, vodka, conversation, computers, the internet, videogames, the original nes, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody. Everybody. Nobody.

Hulk Hogan. Rick Ross. Axl Rose. Mac Dre. Bob Barker. Kurt Cobain. Tom Arnold.

Seriously though, I am all for meeting new people. If you play with yo-yos, collect tattoos, or have anything interesting to bring to the table, feel free to hit me up. If you think that we have something in common, and you can relate to some of the shit I've been through, don't hesitate to send me a message.

Just don't be one of those fuckheads that collects MySpace friends like it is some type of contest. If you want to add me just for the sake of adding me, DON'T EVEN BOTHER.

DISCLAIMER: I am not on MySpace to meet any future ex-girlfriends/wives/whatever. After my last girlfriend -- who I just so happened to meet on this retarded website -- I have no desire to let history repeat itself. She was the worst mistake I could've ever made in my life, and I learned my lesson. NEVER again.
