Green Room Events started out as a hobby and out of passion for the local music scene by Zane in 2000. Zane was booking bands for a few clubs in Southern Maryland and was the sole buyer for bands for Harbor Sounds in Solomons from 2001-2004. Zane also ran the street team for the Niki Bar Band from 2002 till Feb. 2006. Through that experience, Zane knew he had found his passion. And through the street team, Zane met many awesome bands and music professionals and for that he thanks Niki Bar and her awesome team. Green Room Events took a bit of a break until the late summer of 2006 when the world famous Tiki Bar in Solomons called upon Zane to start booking some island themed bands for them and in December 2006 Zane's good friend Kelley asked about learning the music and promotions business since she herself took on the task of running a street team for Cadillac Rock Box. And thus the current Green Room Events team was born. Zane is President and Founder and Kelley is Vice President and the talent and events coordinator. Kelley has years of experience in the local music industry and definatly has the pulse of it as well. Kelley also currently runs street teams for both local bands Cadillac Rock Box and Below Sixth. Zane welcomes Kelley to the team and feels she's a great addition to the team.Green Room Events will focus on bringing the best bands together with the best venues and ensures that each is truly getting the best service possible and at a reasonable price. Green Room Events has an extensive contact list of the areas finest bands, venues, agents, managers, studios, photographers, music attorneys and entertainers. Green Room Events will strive to provide all types of promotional services that our clients wants, including street team start-up, press kit start-ups and web site concepts. We are a small company and take much pride in so. We will not attempt to try to compete head on with the large established companies out there. We take pride in the fact that we work closely with all our agents and know most of them on many personal business levels. We feel this is what sets Green Room Events off from other promotional companies. If in fact a potential client approaches us and we do not feel we can adequately fulfill their needs, we will gladly steer them to one of our friends' in the promotions business. Green Room Events intends to provide top shelf service to our clients at a reasonable price. We will also gladly help you set up any type of festival or event. Just remember, like our slogan says "IT'S NOT AN EVENT UNTIL IT'S A GREEN ROOM EVENT!!!"
