About Me

Simon Little is a session bassist living in London.

Perhaps best known as the bassist with The Divine Comedy and Clare Teal , he also tours regularly with Maggie Reilly, Lea Delaria, Jonathan Jeremiah and Chris Difford. As a jazz bass player he plays regularly with Ian Shaw, Symeon Cosburn, Nina Ferro and Esther Bennett. Simon has also played with Duke Special, Nick Cave, A Girl Called Eddy, Beth Rowley, Ben Folds, Norma Winstone, Claire Martin, Boo Hewerdine, Ryan Edwards, Alan Barnes, Polly Gibbons, Sarah Moule, Julie McKee and The Ronnie Scott's Allstars amongst others.

You can check out Simon's official blog site at Blogger . And don't forget to have a look at the Reverb Nation site and sign up to the mailing list. You can also follow updates on Twitter if you're that way inclined. Simon has also just started a solo bass podcast, you can check it out Here or on iTunes . Search for Simon Little's Podcast. Very imaginatively titled that one.... Simon plays Electric, Upright and fretless basses and the Chapman Stick . He currently uses Warwick basses and amps, and Elites strings. And if you ask him nicely, he might play the musical saw for you....
