IMPORTANT NEWS - PLEASE READ
I have decided to discontinue running small events.
It seems to be near impossible to get anyone to attend the shows regularly, and most people only want to see their friends' bands!
I will continue to run larger events such as The Pleisure Garden Festival, but I think it's time to finally accept that Eastbourne doesn't want regular live music.
If anyone has any suggestions, comments or messages of sympathy for the two years of blood sweat and tears I've put into this company (!) feel free to email me at [email protected].
For information on getting involved in The Pleisure Garden Festival 2009, email [email protected].

------------------------------ NEWS!! ------------------------------
We are now taking applications for all sorts of involvement, and there are many more opportunities this year than last.
And if you want to be a reeeally early bird and reserve tickets now, you can also do that through emailing [email protected].
Please be aware, however, that at this stage we do not have confirmed ticket prices or numbers yet.
But we will happily put your name down for a few tickets at no obligation on your part, you can always email us to cancel the reservation at a later date :)
If you would like to be involved in any of the following areas of the festival, have any suggestions or questions, or anything else, then please email [email protected].
::: APPLICATIONS FOR MUSICIANS, PERFORMERS, BANDS, DJS ETC :::
------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------
Please email your details, including any MySpace or web site links to [email protected].
All genres will be considered.
Musicians, bands and DJs - you need to send us an example of your music, we can listen to it online, you can send us a disc, or we can come and see you play live (if it's within a sensible distance!). As long as we can hear some example, that's fine.
Performers, dancers etc - you need to send us an example of you doing your thing, again either online, on disc or by inviting us to a live performance.
IMPORTANT::: Anyone applying without offering any sort of example will not be considered for the festival.
::: SAFETY MARSHALS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, PROMO STAFF ETC REQUIRED :::
------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------
We need lovely, helpful people to work with the festival as Safety Marshals.
The hours you will attend as a marshal depend entirely on how many people offer to help - so the more the better! You will be paid in the form of free food and free soft drinks for the day that you work, and a free FULL weekend ticket for your trouble, so it's a good deal.
Any photographers, film makers etc that would like to document this years festival, please get in touch. If you have examples of your work or any references then send them to us in your email.
If you would like to help out by delivering/distributing flyers, posters etc we would love to have you on board! Payment to be negotiated by the festival team... but possibly something similar to the Safety Marshal's deal.
To apply for any of the above posts, email [email protected]
::: ARTISTIC? :::
--------------------
If you feel like designing us something fabulous that we could use on our posters, flyers or web promotions, feel free to send them to us at [email protected] and we'll take a peek.
That just about covers it. If you have any questions, suggestions or anything else please feel free to email us at (yes, you guessed it...) [email protected].

WHAT WE DO FOR BANDS
Working with Wasted Talent Music opens up all sorts of opportunities for you as a musician or band.
Basically we want to help the aspiring talent in Eastbourne and surrounding areas. We do this by helping bands and musicians to find venues and booking events as regularly as they like or need.
We are always on the look out for new venues and events in the local area and we endeavour to get this new information to musicians and artists that work with us as soon as possible.
Working with Wasted Talent Music also gives you the option to have one of your tracks up on our MySpace which we try to switch regularly so everyone has a chance to have their track promoted through our MySpace.
