Jeffrey A. Roosa, LCSW has been working full-time in the field since 1990. He is a former Probation Officer of nine years. He is a mediator of community disputes, special education, and parent-child conflict. On 7/1/98 Mr. Roosa established the group psychotherapy practice, Roosa Counseling Services, and he has been the director of this organization since that time. Jeffrey has since self-published two handbooks, the Anxiety Disorder Handbook, Play Therapy by Jeffrey A. Roosa, and The ADHD Kid. His unique methods of working with adults, teens, and children have benefited many. Jeffrey has been a field instructor for Marywood University's Graduate School of Social Work and several other major universities for a number of years, further educating professionals in his methods of treatment. He is a licensed clinical social worker in New York State (LCSW-R).
