::History of Fugue Liberalize Underground ::FLU::
It was started in early 1995 (Cochrane Road School) when two young guy, Eszeree Rimie(Ag) and Wan Noor Effendy were having a same interest in music especially into a band called Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and all other band that put a lot of ‘Grungie’ sounds into their music. On that time they are only 15, and they want to perform a band and create a sound of themselves. They started the line-up with 4 people in it and they are Ag(Vox/guitar), Fendy(Bass), Wan(Lead guitar) and Alang also known as Sharir Aizad(13yrs)(Drums). From that year of the punk broke, they bring up their own music through all the competition, battle of the bands and even being a guest band for other school festivals.
1997, the year they start seriously when they come out with first gig somewhere in Sunway. Bukit Bintang(BB) is the favourite place to hangout where all friends and bands get together to change some thoughts and ideas….The word FLU were flush out in a hot sunny day when they are discussing together about the band name under a tree while all of them were infected by inFLUenza! …later on, they took their chances to accept invitation to rocking all the gigs and shows all around Kuala Lumpur@Selangor.
FLU release a split album with a local band called Motherland with 10 songs inside. The album were recorded and distributed by a local recording company which right now the company are already DEAD!..but on that time the album were getting some good response and positive feedback from the supporter and fans. That was a good start when FLU also got a chance to participate for a biggest concert in asia called Rentak Asia where all bands around the world are getting involve in it.
2007....the journey still continues with a new of F.L.U...come and support our local underground scene in our beloved country... Malaysia!
