The women walked out!
Fuck, that old bio was way too long. Campbell's condensed version!
Ian started Lesbian Golf Tour with Britney and two other fellas in 2004 for a rock band program. Program ended, band was done. In March 2007, Ian (vocals/bass) decided that he was getting old and reviving his perverted punk band would make his life much more meaningful. He contacted Britney and she was down with the idea (obviously, or we wouldn't be here). Britney (drums) recruited Krista for guitar duties, who was a former bandmate in Vicious Playtyme.
After meeting each other only twice, they went to All You Can Eat Studios in April to record a 5-song EP titled High Friends In Low Places. Ian decided playing bass and singing was too much to handle, so the trio recruited Kristie for bass, also a former member of Vicious Playtyme.
After playing a handful of shows and not yet releasing the 5-song EP, LGT decided to record a full-length album called I'm Sorry, Mom in October 2007. Had some misadventures in mixing. The album is now in Kristie's brilliant hands and when it's done, well, you'll probably find out. Good things come to those that wait. In the meantime, we'll play any show we're offered.
"If we were only in a band half as good as them, we'd be really good."
- Allen of Hot Nights At The Hilton Hotel
"If I had $80 I'd pay them each $20 to stop."
- Random girl
Psst... we would have taken the money!
