I am a dog. My name is Genza.I live here in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I work for a living. I work full time as a noise detector, and part time as human puller. I really like my lines of work, and strive to be the best at what I do, I learn lots of things everyday. .. * I was..found here in North Philadelphia, they left me for dead with no food or water...my neck wrapped in a heavy chain many times very tight around my neck.Chained to a fence in an industrial wasteland far..from anyone. But very close to humans who fight dogs for money. Right across the street was a bad place that caused much suffering for dogs.. a place where men used to go make dogs fight with eachother. Men laugh when dogs hurt eachother. I have heard it happen.Late on a Saturday night, men would appear an it would start, the horrible sounds. I could hear it but There was nothing I could do. Most People are very cruel to dogs. I still live in the same neighborhood, and maybe my last owner will see me again one day. It will not be a good day. They kept me confined for a long time, and did not feed me as much as I needed to eat. They tied fishing line tight around my ears and cut them off with scissors very very close to my head. My ears grew around some of it because they did not take it out. Water gets in my ears when it rains. I don't know why they did that to me. I am 100 pounds, 2 years old and I live for the love of my family.I live with the guy who unchained me from the fence. It could be considered my greatest goal is to make him happy, and make him proud of me.The pictures are from the neighborhood. Stray dogs are always around, and I don't mind meeting the nice ones, especially the girl dogs. I am a ladies man. This particular lot used to be a beautiful garden... but noone cares about it anymore. That is good because now stray dogs can hang out there and be safe. Humans are cruel or scared of the dogs. They cannot see their hearts. That is why I want to show you mine.
