Personal Background
‘Cecil-Raw’ Government Rawle Cecil Chapman was born in
19 something something in Huntsville Alabama. At the age
of 2 his family moved to the south side of Nashville TN. A.K.A
Nashville TN. After living out in south Nashville for about
8yrs his family then moved to the east side of Nashville to
neighborhood by the name of Sheperdwood. A.K.A. Blunt Hill.
Around that time he was exposed to a lot of what the streets
had to offer. In fear that he would be consumed by the streets
his parents sent him to a private school named F.H.Jenkins.
After 3 yrs (5th, 6th, and 7th grade year) he re-entered the
public school system his 8th grade year attending Highland
heights middle school where he excelled in sports. He went on to attended
Maplewood High School where he continued to excel in sports.
He completed four years and received his High School diploma.
During his time in high school was when Cecil-Raw’s love for
music brought him to the point where he is now.
Music Background
Cecil-Raw loved music his whole life but it wasn’t until his
freshman yr of high school that it would become clear to him that
he was put on earth for music. It all started from a poem he wrote
for one of his murdered friends. (Mandale Greenwade) In the
spring of his 9th grade yr Cecil rewrote the poem for an English
class. After his friends heard it they gave him the idea to recite it
over an instrumental. Even though that was the 1st time he done it.
It felt so natural. So he continued to write his feelings on paper and
putting it on top of tracks. After being in a lot of groups Cecil finally
realized that he would have to get it done on his own. (SOLO)
Cecil is currently working his debut album that is scheduled to drop
this year.
