About Me

"Jeder" is Spanish for "Heather". Having spent 1 yr in Costa Rica 10 yrs in Colombia and 3 yrs in Dominican Republic, it became apparent REAL quick that my parents had in fact chosen the absolute worst name for me. I can just imagine them on that fateful day of my birth..."Hey, let's name her 'Mary'. Nah, that translates too easily in foreign languages. I've got it! 'Heather'!! That way if we move to South America, the 'h' is silent, the 'th' doesn't exist and no one pronounces 'ea' right. Perfect!!". Therefore, the most consistent and culturally/phonetically accurate pronunciation of my name and spelling came in "Jeder", which is the label I responded to for 14 years..........***On a more serious note, I'm a songwriter and everything I feature on this page is written or co-written by myself or with one of my good buddies. If you're in need of a song (in English or Spanish)for a project, a background vocalist, or a female vocalist for demos message me and I'll get back to ya!............ ***On an even more serious note: check out the local artists, songwriters, and good friends I have collaborated with--Balta, Camarena, Monterrosa, Kingsley, The Goodclouds, Mauricio Gazca, Ruben Cahno, Alicastro. You'll find some of them amongst my friend list. They are all incredibly talented in their own right and you might find that you love their music as much as I do.

Sounds Like: Depends....mostly folky. The Spanish ballads sound like Spanish ballads :). Everything has an earthy feel to it...probably due to my lacking guitar skills (I know one rhythm, :)). Nothing very up-tempo. Very ballady.

Get the Hell Away

I always love to hear stories behind songs.  It changes my experience when hearing a song for the first time from the lips of the very person who put a piece of themselves into that song.  S...
