Ross Victory was born in Culver City, CA and is a Los Angeles native. At two years old, Ross had already attracted an audience by singing the Happy Birthday song on a family members voice mailbox. Ross spent many of his childhood and teenage years lending his vocals to talent shows, school functions, and annoying fellow classmates with his constant persistence of ideas for songs, album titles, and singing group ideas. He has visited many countries where he has met the challenge of singing in a native tongue as a U.S. foreigner. After graduating High School, Ross produced, wrote, and sung his first 12 track demo album of original songs in a home recording studio of a friend. After this unique accomplishment, Ross used his first demo project as a guideline to reflect and build and was eager to acquire more knowledge about the music business. He participated in knowledge based programs in music management and radio. These experiences led to an understanding of Ross’ position as a musical being and the requirements necessary to succeed as an recording artist. Branching out into these arenas led to higher quality songs and vocal production and focused Ross' mind on prerequisites to succeed and excellence. Having been raised on the smooth soul of Bobby Caldwell and Anita Baker, Ross does not drift very far with his music. He has established his sound as a romantic yet passionate singer. His aim is to enchant and subtly communicate messages through R&B, pop, hip hop, alternative, or soft rock that will relax your ears, mind and spirit with a pure vocal delivery. In 2009, Ross gathered up his talents as an artist and knowledge seeker to formulate Gold Mind Music. Gold Mind Music is a reflection of Ross' experiences. The goal of Gold Mind Music is to publish high quality excellent songs that have a focused purpose but to never disregard what makes the song great, passion. Ross plans to be “victorious” in music and life; not by default, but from the pure desire to do hard work and build on solid rock instead of fleeting fame and wet sand.
