Scott Gillis

I've been drumming in and around Chicago for the past 25 odd years or so. Played Alt-Pop Rock with COIN, with singers/songwriters Kat Parsons, Slink Moss, and Patrick Capone. Played at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, and Lollapalooza 2008 with Tiki-Punk rockers Suzy Brack and the New Jack Lords. Recorded with fmr Miss America Kate Shindle and local song-smiths Adam Fitz and Ed Marek. Played with the Glen Ellyn Community band, and toured with an East Indian Theatrical troupe; and done lots of other cool stuff (radio, TV, etc....) I'm influenced by everything I've ever heard. Fave players: Paul Wertico, Jeff Porcaro, Vinnie Colaiuta, Gene Krupa, and Steve Smith. I've also been teaching drumset at Modern Music in Lisle, Ill for the past 14+years.
