Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding; its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's character. Here paradise is restored, heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. Now im a Bible thumper, Holy roller, street preachen, tract passer, seeking the lost, person. I always believed in God like most people, but I didnt have that peace no matter how much booze, no matter how much drugs, no matter how much money, or so-called friends. At the age of 30 my life hit the bottom of the trash barrell, I didnt care to live, or even die, prison wasnt an option it was a destiny, matter of fact I was lifting weights to go, and join all my other friends who were locked up, and still are. Family as precious as they were wasnt in my plan for the future, making a reputable name was. One day a co-worker gave me a video titled close encounters of the Godly kind, it was a description of heaven, a place "I was certain" I was not going to enter. After the video I got on my knees and began to confess my sins with tears and cries for the past that haunted my mind. After everything was said and done, I asked God if He was really real to come into my life. I went to bed, and when I woke up I felt this cleansing that I never felt before like a new born feeling, my desire for alcohol, drugs, curseing and the fast lane came to a halt. Rock bottom is a bad place, but I m glad JESUS was there to pull me out. Now my life is about living for the eternal things, this world is passing away dont be deceived in thinking you can believe in God and live like the devil, and have eternal life after you die, a lie from satan himself. The Deliverer (Jesus) can set you free. Gods wrath is coming for those who want to reject Gods love which is in His Son "Jesus Christ"WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?
