About Me
Hello...my name is Samara Morgan (You may know me from my movies "The Ring" and "The Ring 2"). I had a pretty twisted life. I was born to a single mother named Evelyn, at Saint Mary Magdalen Women's Shelter in Washington state. My mother was aware early on that I was no ordinary baby, I had been born mentally unstable and I could never sleep (Even today I can't sleep at all). When I was a baby I would scream and kick if I was ever near water. My mother tried to drown me in a decorative pool at the shelter, later claiming that I telepathically told her to drown me. After all of that, the administrators put me up for adoption, and my mother was sent to a psychiatric hospital. I was adopted by Richard and Anna Morgan from Moesko Island. My step-mom, Anna, began to go insane, disturbed by visions I was feeding into her mind. Afterward, I was placed in a psychiatric hospital just like my mom was. The medical studies there showed that I possessed a rare psychic ability known as projected thermography, which could make me psychically "burn" images from my own mind onto surfaces, or even into the minds of others. Again, I could still never I was completely insensitive to pain. I also didn't know how to control my own abilities. Finally I was released from the hospital at my step-dad's request and then they forced me to live in a barn. They hopped that this would stop my step-mom's visions if I was farther away from her. That didn't work, her visions continued and made some of the horses go insane, driving themselves off a cliff to be away from me. Well, my step-mom was unable to deal with the continuing torment and she then...murdered me (I think she was encouraged by that bastard, Richard). While I wasn't looking she grabbed a black trash bag and suffocated me before dropping me into my watery grave at the bottom of the well. I wasn't quite dead yet, I managed to survive suffocation atempt and the fall and I stayed in that cold dark well for 7 days. I desperately tried to climb the sides of the well to get out but I ended up breaking my freaking nails off. The only visible light came from the edge of the well covering, forming a faint ring. My step-mom committed suicide soon thereafter by jumping off a nearby cliff on the Washington coastline. However, my spirit lives on. Eventually a camping resort was built on the site, with a log cabin built over the well. My spirit created a curse in the form of a blank, home-made VHS tape, which contained a seris of grainy, disturbing black and white images that were inspired by my life and death. Whoever watches the tape will receive a phone call; when they answered they would hear me whisper, "Seven Days." After seven days you will die. After journalist Rachel Keller's niece fell victim to the curse, she investigated and discovered the tape and its origins. Rachel discovered my dead corpse at the bottom of the well and gave me a proper burial, presumably putting my spirit to rest. I was not appeased, however, and killed the last person to have watched the tape -- Rachel's ex-boyfriend, Noah. The way in which people die from watching the tape was revealed. My body, a waterlogged corpse, will pass into the real world from the video as it plays on the VCR, and I will pass upon you, paralyzing them with fear. While it was apparent that people died of fear at the idea that the television would come on and show the deaths, this aspect is new, and is the fear of me coming to them in person which killed them, possibly in combination with something I do. Rachel and her son Aidan realized that the only way to escape the curse was to copy the tape and show it to someone else. Soon Rachel found out my true origin. My spirit then tried to possess Aidan but was thwarted in the end (Damnit). When Rachel managed to get me out of her son, I returned again, pulling Rachel through her television down into the well seen on my tape. Rachel managed to climb out of the well (Which I couldn't do, damn that bitch), pushing the cover over me. Rachel would have been dragged down, but was saved when part of the wall broke off, the water sending me and delaying me enough. The second time I still nearly managed to escape, as I climbed with increased speed. Whether or not I will get out remains to be seen in the third movie.
By the way, Watch This...
