I want to first say thank you for visiting TIFA'S website. Latifah Monique Scurlock better known as your one and only "TIFA", was born on March 28, 1990 in Chicago IL. TIFA is an up and coming artist on her road to stardom. Singing since the age of 5, now 17 she has awed audiences in many shows and competitions.
Raised on the south side of Chicago, IL. Growing up in Chicago and wanting to sing are two things that you must work really hard on for your dreams to come true, however, TIFA does not give up. From block club parties to clubs venues, she had made a name fo herself. Joining forces with Brim Management, she is getting ready to release her freshmen album under Hater Pruuf Records Entitle 'AFTER ALL THESE YEARS' Being the first female to be under HPR, she has earned the title of the '1ST LADY OF R & B'. The world should get ready for the soulful voice of TIFA. By the way the songs were all written by TIFA personally.
At the age of 17, TIFA is a Junior at Julian High School. Located on the South side of Chicago, IL. She is an Honor Roll Student. Once she graduate from High School Tifa plans to study Performing Arts at Columbia College, located in Downtown Chicago, IL. Majoring in Music. She wants to learn more about the Music Industry, then she plans to Produce her own music and run her own Record Label.
The main Artist that have inspired Tifa to sing, are people like Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Aaliyah and Mariah Carey. I don't want to be like them, but I want the same courage and determination that they have during the ups and downs of their careers to get to where they are now.
