Welcome to Folklink Australia
Linking the Multicultural Communities of Australia through song and dance
Folk Link Australia was created in August 2006 with the vision of "linking" folkloric and cultural elements that are present here in Australia through dance and culture. This works in line with the Federal Government’s policy of Multiculturalism within Australian Communities. The dancers in Folk Link Australia come from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and are active in their own communities.
Folk Link Australia’s core objective is to enable dancers from all ethnic backgrounds to come together and experience other cultures, customs and traditions without any political or racial connotations. We have a ZERO tolerance policy regarding any discriminatory remarks or behaviour towards any race or religion.
