Dita Parlo, named after the German/French film actress of the 1930s, is a one-man singer-songwriter project by Thomas Bensdorp from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Dita Parlo uses many different instruments and sounds to build small and adventurous songs with colorful arrangements. They are often miniature portraits of people or situational sketches, that aim to sound both sad and happy at the same time.
