About Me

Lilli Lewis grew up on a dirt road outside of Athens, Georgia. She has been composing music since she was 3 years old and playing piano for just as long. She studied classical piano and opera at the University of Georgia in her hometown of Athens, GA, but gave that all up to “do her own thing.” She brings together her love for classical music as well as jazz and folk traditions and just runs with it. When fans are asked what kind of music Lilli performs, their only reply is "GOOD music!" She has self-produced three LPs since 2003, each one unique but always revealing the heart of a true sojourner. Her current project "Out From Yonder" is an a cappella excursion that brings Buddhist chanting and Coltrane melodies together in soul filled vocals - medicine for the mdeicine makers. When she's not globe trotting, Lewis makes her home at the Shambhala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, CO.
