Bildwerk, erst 2006 gegründet, ist ein VJ-Duo, bestehend aus den Brüdern Benjamin und Leonard Pokropek. Eine außergewöhnliche Mischung aus optischen Alltagsrhythmen an verschiedensten Schauplätzen, abstrakten Animationen und Farben ist der Versuch, das Ergebnis einer Bildwerk-Visualisierung zu beschreiben. Als Rohstoff dafür dienen "selbsterlegtes" Bildmaterial, genauso wie Vintage-Movies oder die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten von Animations- und Grafiksoftware.
Bildwerk, founded in 2006, is a Vj-duo, consisting of the brothers Benjamin and Leonard Pokropek. An exceptional mixture of everyday visuals rhythms from various locations, abstract animations and colours is the attempt to describe the fruit of a Bildwerk visualization. The resources are self-shot image material as well as vintage movies and the manifold possibilities of animation- and graphics software.
