God loves you very much, but because of sin, you could not be with Him, so He sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to Earth to live the perfect life for you. He never sinned one single time, and yet when He was on the cross, God the Father placed every single sin ever committed or ever to be committed on Him. It was as if He committed every single sinful act since the beginning of the Earth, not you, and not me. And then, He was punished for all of those sins, the sins that He did not commit, when God the Father turned His face away from Him, because God cannot have a relationship with sin, and Jesus died in torment. However, God the Father accepted Jesus' punishment as a due penalty for all of the sins of the world, and three days after his death on the cross, Jesus was risen back to life by God the Father, and if we accept that Jesus took the penalty for our sins and call upon His name, we can have a relationship with Him and with God the Father, and God will call us righteous, because Christ paid the price for our sins already. Well, my name is Gavin Cross, and I am a Christian whos life has been turned upside-down for Christ! He has been so amazingly real in my life that I cannot barely contain it! I attend Grace Calvary Chapel in Soddy Daisy, TN. I love people and I have to ask God daily to give me that love and a burden for their souls (I am not perfect). I do not sing at GCC anymore, but I do sing at Student Venture. I am really blessed by all that God has been doing in my life through ministry at Student Venture. You should come sometime. It is mainly for high-school students at 6:30 on Monday nights at Middle Valley Baptist Church. I love to get together with my friends and write songs. I am in a band called isthmus, and our purpose is to magnify Christ. I try to look for the happiness in every situation. I rarely meet a stranger. I used to work at Hollister in Hamilton Place, which is the most awesome job. Then, I worked at American Eagle at Northgate, equally awesome, but I have finally retired from retail. I write fiction all the time.
I will always miss you. I will always be thankful for you.
