Well, let's see, I'm a pretty average build, maybe 5'10" or 11". I'm gay, Native American and Scottish with red hair, white skin, and a big ol' Native nose. I am presently attending the Evergreen State College with a focus on Native American Studies and Law. I intend to become a Legal Consultant to advise Tribes on negotiating contracts and treaty rights to protect our cultures and sovereignty. While doing that I can also help Queer Rights organizations get through the bureaucracy and red tape that they have to in order to affect change. And yes Fox is my real name :POther than that I'm a pretty big geek. I used to play alot of computer games but now I don't have a good enough interwebs connection for MMO's (the tubes are really clogged on campus and WoW is not worth the internet bill) and my laptop's CPU is a bit too slow for most modern games :( Doesn't stop me from loving the crap out of them though, or playing console games.I'm a roleplayer, both tabletop and LARP. I've been roleplaying since I was seven and I'm proud of it! :D It's alot of fun and has taught me alot of things both socially and academically, so I embrace my geekery.I'm a really big fan of soccer, and few things make me as happy as spending an hour on the edge of my seat slack-jawed watching Manchester United wipe the floor with all their competition. Not only are many of them very beautiful people, but the way that a skilled footballer ceases to play with the ball but rather makes it obey his every whim makes a girl go weak at the knees.I am an Intermediate French student as well, though I had to drop the class due to crazily copious homework. Any practice with other French speakers though is most certainly appreciated and will keep me from losing the language I have until I can pick up learning it again.I house within me a budding Drag Queen, quickly growing into the heels of royalty. As I'm not 21 yet I've only done periodic events, but keep your eye out for Ms. Atlanta Russell at a queer event near you. Anyone with interest in the artform or advice and/or drag stories I would love to speak with so that I can learn more and/or pass on what I have already learned.I like queer theory, yet do to the culture of Olympia and identifying as "Queer" without understanding the implications thereof turns me off from that identification. Queer theory is simple in its paradoxical nature. And though I very much and very proudly identify with my gay male identity, has a lot to say about identification and much of my own identity and ideals match up, but Queer is not my identity. I am Queer in the sense of being encompassed in the non-heteronormative rainbow/alphabet soup, but neither my gender nor sexual identity are queer.Not sure what else to say, but there's a nice little snapshot of me for ya, if you're looking for more information I suppose you'll just have to ask! ^_^
