earlier songs were penned by Hood and college friend Lyn Hanlin-who wrote the bulk of the lyrics-although never performing with the band,she was considered the hidden member of Autofixation.
This line up only lasted a wee while - Hood then relocated to Fife after a stint in France then set about putting a variety of line-ups together.
By this time Hood had taken over all song writing duties and set about committing them to tape-recording in his rented cottage and gigging round the local college circuit-even more later
