Lifeless Blessed is a project I (Brian) started back in 2003. Currently (as of March 2007) it has been a solo project. Basically, I wanted to record a metal album, so I did.
Over time I had acquired a Squire electric guitar, a 100W Marshall half-stack, a Yamaha electronic drum set (not that great, but it got the job done), a Yamaha Keyboard, a G3 iBook, and a MOTU 828MKII firewire interface. Add in some cables, tuners, picks, sticks, a borrowed microphone, lots of beer, and a few months of work and you get the Truths Untold EP.
Truths Untold is a five track EP (first track is an instrumental introduction track which is not available here on MySpace) that I recorded with the equipment above in my apartment bedroom (hence the electronic drums). All music and lyrics were written and performed by me.
The vocals you hear on the EP are actually the second round of vocals I tried. Originally, I had recorded more Black Metal style vocals (think Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir). However, the mic I had (before I borrowed one) made the vocals sound really bad and really soft. Therefore, I re-recorded the vocals Death Metal style (think Opeth). I ended up liking these better, though to this day still struggle between which style vocals I really want on the EP.
Truths Untold was finished in 2004. In the three years since, I have begun working on new material, but due mostly to the fact that I didn't really like the drum sounds on the EP and even more so the fact that my half-stack got stolen out of my truck while transporting it to a gig I was playing with another band, I have postponed recording any more music. This has unfortunately hampered my want to write, though I still come up with the occasional riff and do work on material here and there. I plan to eventually record a full album, but we'll see if that ever really happens.

I'm just a musician who loves metal, especially black metal. You can find some of my favorite bands in my top 8. I'm first and foremost a drummer, but I also play all sorts of drums and percussion as well as guitar and piano/keyboard.
