Loading generic third person bio...........Loading .. please wait..................Gregarious Biggs is not your typical musician/producer. Born in Philadelphia, Greg was raised in the Tri-State Area. A prescient youth, Gregarious realized his intuitive abilities would have to be kept secret and expressed through some other medium. . . Music. Moving to Chicago at eighteen, Greg was inspired by the socially expanding dance culture and DJ's like Rod Lee, Craze, Dieselboy, Josh Wink, and DJ Klever. Riding the wave of influences eventually landed Gregarious on the black sand beaches of Hawaii. 5 years passed and Gregarious worked a lucrative 9-to-5 but stayed connected to the music world as a club promoter. In Hawaii, Gregarious became involved with the Ska/Reggae group Go Jimmy Go and Reggae Stalwarts Humble Soul. Eventually, Biggs decided to move to the mainland and finish his degree. Moving to Philadelphia, Greg caught a big break and worked exclusively with Plastic Little Dj Siyoung. Learning how to create, record, and produce music, Biggs worked on his vocal abilities and watched as friends Siyoung, Spankrock and Plastic Little gained exposure internationally. Influenced by baltimore club, hip hop, and indie rock music, Biggs spent a year in the Baltimore/DC area and perfected his own unique sound. Upon its completion, Greg Biggs set up shop in Los Angeles and has toured from LA to San Diego for the last few years. The album "The Philosophical Front Step sessions," is scheduled for release on Seraphim records in the fall of 2009.
