Acting like a little kid with my husband, writing, reading, working out, hanging out with friends from work, hiking, camping, canoing, white water rafting, singing in the shower, talking to family on the phone!....and spending quality time with the hubby.....
Martin Luther King Jr. and Abe Lincoln, and Hillary Clinton. Also, the former female anchor on NBC's "Dateline", Jane Pauley.and sort of david hasselhoff, because i think being in close proximity with a lunatic would really put things into persepective for me. plus, hasselhoff, funny...!
I love all kinds of music, but I can't stand opera. Besides that, if it has a good beat and great lyrics, then bring it on! Pete Yorn, John Mayor, Jack Johnson, Keane, Coldplay, Dashboard Confessionals, the Weakerthans, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, The Killers, The Fray, Jimmy Eat World, Incubus, DMB, Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Nirvana, Weezer, Nickelback, Greenday, A Change of Pace, Angels and Airwaves, Ashton Allen, Death Cab for Cutie, Eve 6, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Greg Laswell, Third Eye Blind, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Dido, The Eames Era, The Faders, Maria Taylor, Buffy the Musical Soundtrack, Bush, Harry Connick Jr, Dianna Krall, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Prestley, Rascal Flats, Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn.
Comedies are the best, and I LOOOOVE scary movies( especially because they make my husband jump like a little girl, even though he won't admit it), but I also like movies that are 'different', even random, if you will. Like "Family Guy" random, such as...The Birdcage, Garden State, American Beauty, The Girl Next Door, The Grudge, In Bruge, The Dark Knight, Equilibrium, Boondock Saints, Life As a House, Waiting, Reno 911: Miami, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie for Theatres, Memoirs of a Geisha, Little Children, The Last Kiss, Because I Said So, The Shawshank Redemption, Shopgirl, Elizabethtown, V for Vendetta (a film beyond awesomeness; the theme of the story was inspiring.) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Zoolander, Sorority Boys, Wicker Park, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Super Troopers, Beerfest, Teen Witch, Can't Hardly Wait (mostly for the music. Third Eye Blind really needs to come back) Good Will Hunting, American Wedding, Cube, Finding Nemo, The Village, Signs, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Anchorman, The Notebook, Dodgeball, Fight Club, Snatch, 300, Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Hotel Rwhanda, whoo, and any movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laura Linney, Rachel McAdams, and Brad Pitt, Claire Danes, or Jason Swartzman.
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (on dvd of course), "Angel" (also only on dvd), "Lost", "24", "The Shield", "Desperate Housewives", "Smallville", " The Office", " My Name is Earl", Almost any show on VH1, "Jericho", "America's Next Top Model", and can't forget "Conan O'Brian"!
"Memnoch the Devil" by Anne Rice, "Farenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury, any erotica written by Anne Rice, "Timeline" by Michael Crichton, "Year Zero" I forgot who wrote that, but it's good, anything written by Elizabeth Haydon, most anything by John Grisham or James Patterson, "The Crimson Petal and the White" by Michael Faber, " The Destroyers" by Richard Bachman a.k.a. Stephen King, " The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, and "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown, and "The Talchoyn Web" by Christoper Pike
My husband, Duh! My heroes are the same from the four people I'd like to meet, especially Hillary Clinton. Two other heroes are my mom, and my mother-in-law. I love them both sooo much! Oh, and my sisters, Rhiannon, Brenda, and Tammy, and my sister-in-law Katey for having a baby and living to tell the tale! Kermit the frog, way up there on the list too.
