MR. GAY RHODE ISLAND 2007Born on july18th 1987 Mark DeCosta was born in providence ri where his residence remains. As a young man mark grew up in the silver lake community in providence. Mark is a very driven man with a lot of goals and aspirations and he plans to accomplish all of them. Mark is a high school graduate from Hope High School for the Performing Arts. He was dance captain at the high school for 2 years and graduated leaving a mark in which he always does no matter where he goes. Mark grew up always knowing what he wanted to do in life. He has came a long way from an immature child grown into a mature, responsible, trustworthy young man.Mark is a well known dance choreographer known all throughout New England. He is the owner and head choreographer of Forceful Dance Entertainment. Helping our young adults and the youth in our community in anyway is what mark enjoys doing. He does community service at Tolman High School as an after school dance instructor. As well as being a member of Infinyt dance group RI. Here in Rhode Island mark is known to be an inspiration to others in the community to persue your dreams. He states all the time ???if you put you mind to it, then anything is possible???.It was an honor for mark to be titleD MR NEW ENGLAND 2009 I feel amazing I am so happy im ready for an exciting year???. He is ready to take the GLBT community to a whole new exciting level this year. As MR. NEW ENGLAND 2009 Mark plans on digging deep into our communities issues that we face day to day. Mark would like to get involved with our coming up youth and young adults. He wants to dig deep and help those that are going through hard times, any issues such as family issues, personal issues etc. He does not only want to be an inspiration to people in the dance world but he wants to be an inspiration leader to everyone in the GLBT community as well.
