It began as a vision in 1998 by guitarist Natal John. Since it's birth FP has sold over 3,000 CD's/DVD's, successfully made 5 music videos, won the regional ADDY AWARD for their music video "Escape", and has opened for countless acts. Such as members of EVANESCENCE(Wind-Up Records),10YEARS (Universal Records), and HASTE(Century-Media Records). Plus in September guitarist Natal John went to RaidoStarStudios in Weed,CA to lay down guitar tracks for one of his other projects SIN/TRAVISTY(now called Hi-TechHate). It was produced by Sylvia Massy Shivy(TOOL,RED HOT CHILE PEPPERS, S.O.A.D.).The material is currently being shopped by Sylvia Massy Shivy and is being played on several Radio Stations throughout the U.S. Ask Natal about FP and this is what he has to say, "Honestly I am so busy with, HI-TECHATE, and DARKFROMDAYONE that I don't even have time for FIRSTPLACE right now. But when I find the people that can dedicate the time I'll start it up again.Hopefully with a few of the previous members.I'll be puting some new material up on the myspace soon of some of the new stuff that I am writing for FP. But right now most of my creativity is focused on my other 2 bands."Currently Natal John is also endorsed by HALO GUITARS and his newest project DARKFROMDAYONE is going to Jupiter Studios in St.Louis,MO the week of March 10 to have their demo produced and shopped by Phil Taylor(ex FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD singer). It seems as if only a matter of time before labels take notice at this determined individual and his will to write and perform music for a living.
