Originating from the flat lands of the furthest portion of rural north-west Tennessee, ARMS HARBOR, began developing their folk rock and alternative country style as musicians singing in church and grade school at an early age. Vivacity and zeal are always a given in their performances, so hand clapping and foot stomping are never far away when they are on stage.Though Eric Brewer and Krystal Norwood grew up only a few miles from one another, it wasn’t until the fall of 2003 that the two met by coincidence on a blind date. It was immediately clear that two people rooted deeply in such a wealthy musical tradition, with passions to match, couldn’t make a more natural pairing for a song writing and performing duo.Krystal began singing at the age of seven in her family’s traveling gospel group. Little did she know that this childhood past-time would turn out to be one of the most rewarding gifts she would ever know. Krystal’s ethereal voice is soothing, and brings a calming feel to the music of ARMS HARBOR.Eric, primarily a lyricist and singer, has been focused on writing original material for some time now, and has performed in many diverse formats with numerous talented artists. He is an excellent guitarist and an equally talented vocalist. Determined to preserve musical harmony, his energy and intelligence are the heart of ARMS HARBOR.With their music rooted in folk rock, soul, and good ol’ southern pride, Krystal’s angelic voice and Eric’s southern rock style blends in such a way that has crowds hootin’ and hollerin’ for them wherever they go.
Releasing one album "SOLACE" in October 2007, and performing primarily in the central Florida area from 2006-2009, ARMS HARBOR once again currently resides in their home state of Tennessee. They are currently not performing together, nor do they have plans to perform or write together again in the future."Krystal and I had a great run playing together, and we appreciate all of the love and support that we received while living and performing in Central Florida. Our friends there will be greatly missed and always remembered."Thank you all for Listening!Sincerely,
