Harry Peirson is fast becoming known as one of the UK’s best young rock guitarists. His flamboyance, style, and above all, technical ability are unquestionable and of course, unmistakeable.
Since the age of 11, influenced by the legacies of Hendrix, Santana, Clapton and Page, Harry began his musical journey. Constantly playing whenever and wherever he could. At the age of 14 he was spotted by American bluesman Johnny Mars, harmonica player to Hendrix, B.B King, Tina Turner, and Dylan. Taken aback by the showmanship, raw energy and technical ability of the 14 year old, Johnny asked Harry and four of his peers if he would like to embark on a project. Harry was taught the art of the blues by one of its masters. Writing, touring, recording, constantly playing clubs and festivals all over the UK and Europe, Harry gained a massive amount of experience at such an early age.
At the age of 16, with his focus moving from the natural progression that is Blues to Rock, Harry and some of the other members he had worked with went on to form a number of bands, playing around the south west. Although not as successful as the previous band, it was a move that Harry felt was critical to make, and allowed him to play a far wider range of original materiel and spread his wings as so to speak.
During this time, Harry worked with a number of different artists in various genres, writing and recording for adverts, as well as for his band. 18 months passed before the guitarist took his next step and set about finding yet more work.
Harry now plays in hard-rock band ‘MORPH’ Touring the UK, Europe and now the USA, Playing some of the country’s most prestigious venues and festivals, alongside his idols, constantly gaining experience, raising his profile, and honing his skills in performance, and his instrument.
