Biography DJ MBA
Dj MBA who is from Amsterdam has earned his stripes over the past couple of years in the dutch Dj/Club scene.
He started out in small clubs, but in time his name grew which has allowed him to play in Holland’s biggest clubs regularly. He also traveled abroad to perform at venues in England, Grand Canaria and Aruba.
Besides performing in clubs, Dj MBA has brought out many mixtapes. He worked with artists such as Lange Frans, Baas B, Brace en Yes-R to release the famous “Straat Remixes†mixtape. Since then he has released more than 20 mixtapes.
MBA is no stranger to radio. He co-hosted a radio show by the name “Gekkenhuis†on Lijn 5 with Lange Frans and Baas B, he was the replacement dj for The Partysquad on Funx and also had a show on the internet radio station Royal Radio with Dj TLM (Brainpowers Dj). Here after he was also a guest on radio shows like: Giel Beelen, Funx, Juize, Lijn 5 and local radio. He also appeared live on Aruba’s biggest radio stations (Magic FM & Cool FM)
In the past couple of years Dj MBA has performed on several TV programs, for example: Top of the Pops, Countdown, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, TMF Awards, TMF Reaction, Katja VS de Rest (scene with Patty Brard),The Box and in 2008 he was the DJ for all the episodes of “Kamervragen†a live television show hosted by Lange Frans.
MBA performed as an opening act for world famous stars such as Lil Wayne, Sizzla, DMX, Bounty Killer, Fatman Scoop, Akon, Lil Scrappy, Petey Pablo, Sean Paul and Sean Kingston and also performed with Lange Frans in the Gelredome for Dance 4 life as Dj Tiesto opening act.
In 2006 Dj MBA released a single titled: “Clippen ‘m dood†with Dj Waxfiend and PLS, this single scored high on the box charts.
Even with all the attention and performances that Dj MBA has received in the last six months, he still found time to organize events. He has successfully organized events such as: Sean Paul Afterparty (Melkweg), Lil’Wayne Afterparty (Melkweg) and Ridin’Dirty (Melkweg).
Dj MBA has definitely made a name for himself and with all the up and coming projects scheduled, it will continue to be a name well known.
