Biography:Fateborn was formed in January 2004 by the guitarists: Kamil Tynecki and Piotr Geca. Although the two are deep-rooted in the genre of industrial death-metal, they decided to distance themselves from their former projects and embark on something stylistically different.
The original lineup included Bartek Ziemba (voc), Kamil Tynecki, Piotr Geca (guitars), Radek Grygiel (drums) and Emil Socha (bass).
In September 2004 Fateborn started recording their first promo material and gave their first live performance in Club “Hades†in Lublin. They shared the stage with Coffins, Bimbeer and El Chupacabra. Soon after, the recording process was disrupted by Emil Socha’s decision to leave the band. The work in the studio lasted till December. Meanwhile, a new bass player Grzegorz Maliszewski filled in the lineup. Due to the very busy studio schedule and time-consuming process of mixing, the work on the material ended in March 2005. The final effect entitled “Breathing†consists of seven tracks whose style can be described as metalcore.
The band promoted their newly recorded material playing numerable and memorable gigs with Frontside, Hedfirst, Parricide, Epitome, Cicatrix, Interior, Priority, Climate, Requiem, Ravendusk, Coffins and Silence Ever After.
The live appearances and euphoria stimulated the band creatively and in 2006 Fateborn prepared their second material, “Blood Unleashed.†This time Pawe.. Ciuraj was in charge of the recording and the mastering belonged to Piotr Sprawka. The music on the new record is diametrically opposed to the previous, moderated stuff. The eight death-core compositions on “Blood Unleashed†are heavier and far more dynamic and aggressive.
In September 2006 there was another change in the lineup. The drummer, Radek Grygiel left the band and was replaced by Micha.. â€Twister†Abramowicz.
Presently, apart from promoting “Blood Unleashed,†the group are already preparing new compositions, looking forward to another recording session…
