I grew up in Seattle, Wa by way of LA. Most of my family sings or plays an instrument. For some reason I started real late at about 21. I used to beat the countertops but I didn't discover Congas until I went to UNITY C.O.G.IC. The best thing about playing is meeting people and coming up wit new licks.
