Okay, what am I supposed to say here? Let's see...I'm a writer--words are my LIFE, that is the most important thing about me. I've sacrificed much for my art, but it's not really a sacrifice at all, because my art IS my life. I'm one of those mercurial, creative types who never seems to fit in, and is just THIS far from being carted off to the local looney bin, (but I'm in VERY good company!). Oh yeah, and I'm a HUGE drama queen! :) I'm a woman who has been the reflected light of everyone I was ever in a relationship with, and I'm TRYING to finally make some light of my own. I am a mother who it a thousand miles away from her children, but I know creatively, that I am where I need to be right now, (I hope that when they are 'old enough' they will understand). I believe that love CAN conquer all, and I'm living with the love of my life, best friend, soul mate. My tongue--or my fingers, in this case--are loosened with half a bottle of wine, so please indulge me. I am a searcher, searching for the ANSWERS, and I WILL eventually find them, or die looking. I am a Pollyanna, and DO believe that everything WILL work out and there WILL be a happy ending--except when I'm depressed. In many ways I remain an arrested adolescent, (thus my continued fixation with Roddy McDowall). I can function in the 'real' world, but would much rather live in my fantasy world--sometimes it's very handy being a writer. I'm a Gemini, so I have a dualistic nature, and usually want it 'both ways.' I'm often very bubbly and cheerful, so most people don't seem to realize that I'm sad sometimes too, and do have problems. I am very spiritual, but not in the conventional religious sense.
