About Me

Long long ago in a galaxy far far away there was a boy... ok too far back.... I love being outside, camping, bike riding, horse back riding. I also love photography, my specialties are architecture and nature photography, although I did portrait photography professionally for a while. I enjoy playing computer games, mainly Need For Speed, Call of Duty 4, and Vice City.
I'm Scottish and damn prrroud of it. I enjoy wearing my kilt whenever possible, and wish they weren't so bloody expensive or I would wear them every day. Bagpipes make my soul fly. Get a good band with a nice rock beat and some pipes, maybe a tin whistle or similar wind instrument, and of course a bodhran and it is party time (Sandcarvers, Mother Grove, etc.). I play a bodhran myself at a pub in Downers Grove (Ballydoyle... see my friends list) most every Sunday night (5ish to 7ish), and now also at the Auld Dubliner (again see friends list) on Tuesdays from 7-10 and Wednesdays from 6-9. Its open to everyone with folk music talent. Stop by a give a listen, or play.
I also enjoy listening to music live, it is always better than a cd. For my TV, music, and other interests... see the interests section.
Some people are bothered by this so I'll put it out now... I collect swords, and I like wearing a kilt. This puts me into a small but fast growing group of people that most other people would consider very strange, and have nothing to do with. If that doesn't stop you... by all means drop me a line.
