I just started going to the gym and I want to be more active in life. I go to the Buddhist Temple to meditate on Sundays. I like playing pool, having a beer and kicking it, going to art galleries, rare book shops, wine tasting’s, BBQ’s, swinging golf balls, lounges and hanging with my baby Nephews. On occasion I tend to be a pretty big coffee fiend. I'm a total Netflix junkie.
I really don't care... I'll groove with the stoners, chill with the boys and party with the rest...
NIN and Enya. I love soundtracks, Vaughn Williams, and anything with a little passion.
I think "Pulp Fiction" is the greatest Christian movie ever made. Anything by Akira Kurosawa, Yasujiro Ozu, Federico Fellini, Igmar Bergman, Stanley Kubrick, Michelangelo Antonioni, Jean-Luc Godard, Wes Anderson, Bernardo Bertolucci, The Coen Brothers, Orson Welles, Jane Campion, Andrei Tarkovsky, and of course, the God - David Lean. I think what Peter Jackson did with "Lord Of The Rings" was liturgical! "Crash", "Whale Rider", "The Hours", "White Oleander", "Memento", "Fight Club", "Moulin Rouge", "pi", "The Limey", "Kill Bill", "Singing In The Rain", "Finding Nemo", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "The Great Muppet Caper", "Steel Magnolias", "Gladiator", "Braveheart", "The Black Stallion", "The Godfather", "Sleepless in Seatle", "Spaceballs", "Sex & Lucia", "Amelie", "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", "The Piano", "American Beauty", "Frida", "Heat", "The English Patient", "Titus", "Ben Hur", "The Day The Earth Stood Still", "A Little Princess", "Interview With The Vampire", "The Color Purple", "Dances With Wolves", "The Abyss", "Blade Runner", "On The Town", "300", "Across the Universe" (I'll add more later) -all are the very best movies that have ever touched me. And then there's other films like "Mean Girls", "Stargate", "Jurasic Park" and "Bridget Jones' Diary" that were also good. I love films... don't get me started.
Nip/Tuck, Sex and the City, Rome, Family Guy, Inside the Actors Studio and The Whitest Kid's U Know.
“Wickedâ€-Gregory Maguire, “Loveâ€-Toni Morrison, Anton Chekhov, Virginia Woolf, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare. The poetry of Maya Angelou, Anne Carson, Mary Oliver, Nicole Blackman, Jorge Luis Borgess and “Dark Night of the Soulâ€-St. John of the Cross. “Seven Pillars of Wisdomâ€-T.E. Lawrence, “The Art of Warâ€-Sun Tzu, “Historiesâ€-Herodotus and anything on filmmaking. And of course “Female Ejaculation & The G-Spotâ€-Deborah Sundahl. Oh! And "She Comes First" by Ian Kerner should be required reading for every guy.
There was an Egyptian Pharaoh named Akhenaten who had the balls to change the entire religion, society, art, culture and capital of the whole empire. He did things to art that didn’t happen in mainstream society until the Renaissance; he created the worlds first recorded monotheism; he was the first person in world history to create an entire city unto itself; and 4,000 years before Christ, Akhenaten was proclaiming love as the ultimate good in the universe. This fucker was amazing!
