I don't really know. I like meeting people from all facets of life. It's always fascinating, though I seem to be drawn to creatives - musos, artists & writers.
People that do things unexpected or left of field tend to drift into my life.
I was asked "Who would you do lunch with" by my son. My reponse was Robin Williams, Joss Whedon, The Dalai Lama & Terry Gilliam. I could also think of (to 1st time meet):- a number of Mutant Enemy alums - Jane Espenson, Doug Petrie & Ben Edlund. Writers - Paulo Coelho, Laurell Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Stephen King, Kelley Armstrong, Lilith Saintcrow, Terry Pratchett.
Of dead people to have over for lunch (blood & flesh notwithstanding on the menu) I'd go for Sulla, Aristophanes, William Shakespeare, Albert Einstein, Charlemagne, Raphael, Michaelangelo & Euripides.
Yes, again with the writers.
Then there is a subsection of catching-up-in-person list - all those I know who have moved overseas & the people they have settled with meaning a trip to France, USA (all over that continent) & England. Very big ponds to swim.
I've been fortunate to have met my favourite writer (& workshopped with her no less).
I can now also cross off meeting Sherrilyn Kenyon after attending a con. Woo Hoo!
