About Me

A fifth generation musician, I feel my life has been blessed with the friends and memories music has brought into my life. Each show, jam, or song is chance to share a story, make a friend, or feel the energy that only live music can create. I look forward to each chance to perform as a songwriter, or as a back-up player for other performers. I play guitar, mandolin, blues harp, fiddle, and banjo and also love to write and record. I’m the Des Moines Iowa Coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), a 501(c) 6 not-for-profit trade association that offers a variety of services to professional and aspiring songwriters. It’s a great source for education, support, motivation, and meeting other writers. The NSAI consists of a body of creative minds, including songwriters from all genres of music, professional and amateur, who are committed to protecting the rights and future of the profession of songwriting, and to educate, elevate, and celebrate the songwriter and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large. Check NSAI out on the web at www.nashvillesongwriters.com and learn about all the great services and tools they provide.Anyone wanting details for our central Iowa meeting locations and time can reach me through MySpace. Thanks for listening!
