Got you where I want you...
Well where do I start.....I'm a Louisiana girl who ended up in "God's country"....whatever that means.....a place where everyone says "Bless their heart", and I'm not even sure they know why. I miss the good food from home the most, and of course all my friends and family. I have met some great people since moving here in late 2005 and couldn't ask for more. I'm here for school, getting my PhD in Clinical Psychology. Trust me, I'm just as surprised as you are! Despite the fact that I'm starting my 9th year of college and STILL have another 2 to go, I do have a life outside of school...kinda. I do my best to go to the movies, out to eat, concerts, bars and clubs so i can dance and watch live bands, and travel. Getting out of the house and letting loose helps me maintain my sanity...there is a very fine line. Shopping is a form of relaxation for me as well, but the small amount of funds that come along with graduate school may be the beginning of a new relaxation technique! I'm a friendly person who never meets a stranger.....I'm left-handed, and I love chinese food, ice cream, COLLEGE FOOTBALL, roller coasters, making people feel better about themself, road trips, godiva truffles, funyuns, grapes, fresh pineapple, chocolate chip cookie dough, chips and salsa, anything having to do with LSU, procrastination, going to the mall, cooking, tulips, wasting time on myspace, accomplishing the mini-goals i set for myself, reading cookbooks, watching seinfeld reruns on DVD, and every now and then I'll manage to squeeze in a little homework. I consider myself to be a pretty low maintenance and charmingly-sarcastic kinda gal. I'm usually the one in the group that says something socially inappropriate....but with Ashley I have met my match!
