- - -Jellofest started in Austin, Texas in the early 90's. It was an event where the bands, fans, and just about whoever could hang out, drink beer, and listen to great live music all day long. Each event had a pool full of jello where the fans, bands, and the ladies would particpate in some interesting forms of wrestling. After Lucy's on 6th moved to San Marcos, the old location turned into the chuggin monkey, and the event moved to the red eyed fly. For the last couple of years, the event has been on hiatus. Jack's Patio Bar is bringing jellofest southbound to San Antonio to carry-on tradition and fun!
