There is more to me than what meets the eye, or what you may read in this meager posting. These pictures are merely memories. They do not depict the people or person in them. I love life. I love the smell of rain. My mother is the most important part of my life. My best friend once mentiond..."She has lived a life." My mom is someone I admire. She is a magnificent woman and I pray that I can be half the woman she is. My family and friends are inspirational. They are the reason for my happiness. Without them I would be empty, I wouldn't belong but only to this one being, this body in which I dwell. I live by a quote that was told to me by a stranger, he was a surviving cancer patient. "It's one thing to be alive, and its another to LIVE. Because to live, actually live life is so much more rewarding then to be. Just be alive." I try everyday to live life to its fullest. there is so much more than what's in front of you...and I'm curious. I love to travel and seeing what the world has to offer. Traveling isn't just having fun going out and partying. Its about learning, observing, communicating with people from all over. Trying new things, expanding your horizons. And taking that home with you, has to be the greatest souvenir. I think too many people are caught up in the minuscule dilemmas of everyday life, that they forget about the important things. We would all be a lot healthier and happier if we took a break, a mind break just for one-second to step outside ourselves and view the world from a different prospective. Perhaps a self-evaluation is needed once in a while, to reflect and contemplate what we are doing. I believe in giving people second chances, and I know miracles can happen. I believe in fate and know Karma is very real. Music opens my mind and frees my soul. What I want to do in life is help children. I love them. I strongly believe that if people show a hint of affection, give them an ounce of love, they would be appreciative for life. No matter who you are or where you come from, all we want from the start is love.On a lighter note...I'm Erika, a goofball at heart. The person you'll almost always find with a smile. I have a strong faith in God and I know my guardian angels are keeping a close eye on me. I absolutely adore my dog Dexter. He's my lil gremlin I love going out, pictures, and white chocolate. I'm very random, easily distracted, and I tend to forget what I'm saying in mid-sentence. I'm a supportive friend. I love to laugh till it hurts HAHA. the things I don't care for: I don't hate much but if i HAD to choose it would be needles, oh and onions Blah. I dislike fake people, and people who lie, especially to my face. But I've learned to live with them. I don't like drama, try to stay as far away from it as much as possible. I can't spell or do math for the life of me! I'm a good listener, I like to help others, but most importantly I love to make people smile. I love root beer floats, or just plain root beer. I like getting all dressed up, but don't like getting all dressed up with no where to go :( hehe I love lippy gloss. I enjoy meeting people I love talking but at the same time I appreciate silence. I like making funny faces. I respect my elders, I believe in horoscopes. I like bright colors...love to decorate....& LOVE to eat yummy food. Heres another quote I like.
