Rattlesnake is the principal producer at Regulate Records and the key element behind most of the music of the UK rapper and singer Silkapone since 1999.
Producing since the age of 14, he is one of the original ‘Trinity’ members of the Regulate Family and one of the first artists that Silkapone had signed to label.
Working on all 3 of the SilkKut releases and producing for JL on his Regulate debut ‘Dance with Me’, he produced banging remixes on SilkKut’s 1999 single ‘Leave Him’ and JL’s 2000 single ‘Dance with Me’.
Not just a producer but a great rapper too, dropping memorable bars on some of Regulate’s most classic songs including: ‘Vendetta’ and ‘Troubles’ from the 2005 Regulate release – ‘The 7 deadly sins Mixtape Vol.1’ and dropping the opening spit on ‘Regulate Anthem III’ from the 2007 Regulate release – ‘The Tiger prince Mixtape Vol.2’.
Along with some of his other label mates he toured colleges and universities and performed with Silkapone at the Fairfield Halls Croydon for Choice FM and Sony's Urban talent show case; 'Rapology 2001'.
However production is Rattlsnake’s speciality as the public heard on the classic 2004 track; ‘Tiger Tiger’ which doesn’t even scratch the surface of his talent as people will soon find out when Regulate Records releases two albums this year; ‘Regulate Revolution’ (Silkapone) and ‘The Family’ (Various Artists) both of which will include several new Rattlesnake productions.
Watch out particularly for a Drum & Bass infused song on the ‘Revolution’ CD this year guaranteed to be a summer classic.
‘The Family’ release will also feature 2 solo hip hop tracks from Rattlesnake himself, as well as some colabo’s with other Regulate artists.Carrying Eastern influences and famed for his bass-ridden ‘Atlanta meets the east style’, 2007 will be the year you feel this Snake Bite!
