Layout by CoolChaser Substance aka Lorne Miller was born in Bronx, NY. He moved at an early age to Indianapolis, IN before landing in Wallace, NC (which he considers his hometown). Substance attended school at the School of Communications and Arts where he received a degree in Audio Production and Sound Design. This is where he learned his recording and mixing techniques. This is also why 99% of his songs he recorded by himself in the studio.
