DJ Demjam, aka AHMED, was one of the first Moroccan and north africain hip-hop DJs. He started spinning in 1988, quickly movd into top clubs and founded the first Moroccan hip-hop band “double A.” They released -Waki3- the first moroccan hiphop album in 1995 and began an urban movement. In 1998 he paried up with Cruise Control, a NYC based R&B Band, toured Japan, Singapore, Nigeria, Bahrain, Spain, Germany, and Poland. In 2000, he went solo, traveling in Africa and Europe, including stops in Rabat, Dakar, Casablanca, Dusseldorf, and Ukraine, for crowds of 5000 and more. In 2004 he moved to Germany securing residencies in many clubs and apearedon radio and TV. He relocated again in 2005, back to Morocco but, still holds residenties in many clubs in morocco and europe ...
