Livin' So Fast – Duo producers and DJ’s from Leszno, Poland. Mike Cortez and Poldee formed Livin’ So Fast in 2006.
Mike Cortez was born in 1986. He is a young, enthusiastic and talented DJ and producer who resides in Leszno. He defined his music preferences while he was gaining experience in performing as a DJ in Poland. Aggressive sounds and deep bass line interested Cortez and he started to develop his own electro house beats. In 2006 he independently started working on his own productions. His efforts paid off and results were achieved. In February 2007 came his first single “Electronic Trip” with Love Dealers record label. The following release was a remix of “Bax Bunny - „Funky Heroes” (also in LDR). Then came his EP “I'm Buzzed Up” and then both Cortez & Eric Pool produced “Clones Invasion” and “He Said”. This was launched with great co-operation and understanding in this new found partnership with Poldee…
Poldee aka Carlos Blake was born in 1987 in Leszno. Since a young teenager he had been interested in music. His first single, “Reconsider”, was on many DJ play lists, such as Dj Jose and Jonathan Ulysses. This particular track was released on the Dutch label MFL Recordings. The next track to come from Poldee was “Ready to Go” and was also played by many well known DJ’s. However, it was never released with any label. Poldee worked hard and concentrated on finding his own style and developing his techniques. He prefers ambitious electro with sharp sounds and a fat bass line when he is behind the decks or in the studio. In 2006 he launched his partnership with Cortez and Livin’ So Fast was born…
Music produced by Livin’ So Fast is a journey through different sounds and this unique duo from Leszno unmistakably attract fans from far and wide. During the last few months the guys have been working on different productions, creating many immense tunes. After merely 6 months of partnership there was great progress. One of their first tracks, “Headache”, was released by Love Dealers Records and was in the list of top best selling tracks on djdownload.com. The following tracks were also a great success…
The remix of “Bettimino” for a well known Polish DJ Adamus, was promoted along with their (L’SF) next production titled “Life Is Brutal” by DJ’s duo David Amo & Julio Navas during their residence at Space – Ibiza. “Life is Brutal” was released in January 2008 as an EXCLUSIVE release by the label Exotic Refreshment – of which the founder is Cortez himself.
In the year ending 2007 into 2008 came a huge turning point for the Livin’ So Fast career. The duo started to work with a vocalist from LA – California. His name was Alexander Perls and he has worked with producers such as David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Roy Gates and many more. A track called “Sexy Girl” with Alexander Perls on the mic’ is in progress at present and you will hear about that very soon, so stay tuned…
In January 2008 Cortez and Poldee produced a remix for the French label DJ Center Records (known for releasing productions of DJ’s like John Dahlback, Mark Knight, David Vendetta and D.O.N.S). L’SF latest releases are, “Dead Body” and “Behind The Decks”. These tracks gained recognition in the west and are promoted by world DJ’s like Antoine Clamaran, DJ Fist, Sebastien Drums, Eric Laville and DJ Joe K.
”Dead Body” will be released in April 2008 by Exotic Refreshment label as an EXCLUSIVE release! However “BTD” will appear on vinyl and digital as well as on the French label Work Machine with remixes of Eric Laville, Dj Marbrax a Jonathan Landossa.
